Just Received Wonderfully Blessed Bit of Information

Post by fdw » Fri Jul 31, 2015 12:44 pm

Just had to share

After more than 20 years of my health insurance NOT (actually my Employer....) covering Sleep Disorders/Testing and CPAP Equipment/Supplies they now will starting my new plan year beginning October 1, 2015.
I have been advocating this issue with the Risk manager and she actually went to bat for all my fellow employees and retire (like me) employees this year and WON!

Glory all be to God!
ResMed AirSense S10 Autoset (Ins. Pur. 3/16/2016)
AutoCPAP 10-15 EPR 1.0 (Latest Sleep Study 3-7-16)
Started CPAP March 1995 with a pressure of 11.0

Way to stick thru to the end (at good one at that).

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Don't celebrate until you know what your deductible and copays will be.
Many plans dodge paying for cpap by making these amounts unconscionably high.
Good luck!
