I've noticed now for a while (6+ months) that I need increased pressure after switching to a FFM from a nasal mask.
Using straight CPAP my initial pressure setting was 13 (titration) and now Im up to 14.2 and EPR 2.0, and feel as if I need increase my pressure again. My AHI's are generally between 2.0 and 0.60 (50-60% Clear Airway apena), so pretty darn good. However Hypopnea can last (according to SH) up to 59 seconds, and OA up to 20 seconds so therefore the reasoning for increasing the pressure.....again.
Any input or knowledge on this subject......I did read that a longer hose would require a higher pressure setting but nothing about mask types.
Thanks

Re: Full Face Mask and higher pressures requirements
FDW, I don't recall reading anything definitive about pressure and the type of mask. However, I can tell you that when I switched from a FFM to pillows the pressure required to maintain the same AHI went down, which correlates with what you've found.
