At 5 years, it's probably better and faster to replace it than repair. Jim

A new machine is definitely a good idea. Check the Useful Links in my signature line at the bottom of this post for a good machine to get. The right machine can make a big difference in your therapy.

If you have insurance, check with them about a new machine.

If not, if you get a copy of your prescription, you can buy online. Cpap.com, the host for this site is a good supplier.

Once you figure out what machines are good and bad, you might also check your local craigslist listings. I often see good deals there, and have bought several. Unfortunately, I often have to watch several weeks to find a good deal.

There is also Secondwindcpap, where you can buy lightly used, cleaned, reconditioned and tested machines,
or new, open box machines.

PM me if your looking for a new machine. I have brand new machines from both Resmed and Respironics at prices that are the same or cheaper than some used machines.
