He is now mostly unpacked. I will be going over this afternoon with odds and ends and to finish the unpacking and organize it a bit better.
He is inthis seniors facility. It is brand new and he is the 4th person moving in. He had a lovely time talking to the trades finishing up while he waited for the movers to arrive.
The food is divine (and kosher) It will in fact in the future accept reservations from out side as it will be the only Kosher restaurant in town. We dined with the director and a couple of board members. This was practice for the new kitchen and staff. We are not Jewish but dad loved the area of town and the amenities.

For those who don't know the back story, my mother died at home this spring, slowly, and while that was happening dad went a little bizarre and started accusing me and my sister of stealing his money and all sorts of other things. So while looking after my dying mother I was scrambling to try to pay the bills and he was calling social workers and agencies all over the place saying he was being abused and afraid for his life.

For us this will be a new start. The option after 4 years of 24/7 caregiving to start our lives anew. And for those who are still struggling with their cpap therapy, I could not have done it without that. You might also want to visit some stroke victims and people with dementia to give you the motivation to continue.

That place looks really nice! I hope your father will be happy there and find new friends. I can't imagine dealing with someone with dementia on a daily basis. A neighbor had 6 kids at home when her hubby was dx'd. He was very physically combative so she had to put him in a nursing home. This guy was so loving and gentle before he got ill. He passed away in his early 50's.
Morbius, are you bored?
