Re: Relapse?

Are you using sleepyhead? can you? something has obviously changed. An airsense machine CANNOT breathe for you, it cannot start a breath, aircurve models can. The breathing is you responding to something new fighting CPAP. Sleepyhead plots can help us to see if we can spot something, otherwise we ar...

Re: trouble falling asleep

A couple things: "turned off the ramp feature to avoid unnecessary increases in air pressure " not exactly what ramp does. IF you are having trouble falling asleep BECAUSE your starting pressure is uncomfortable, ramp lets you set a lower pressure and the ramps to your starting pressure in an amount...

Re: Beyond SleepyHead

A few thoughts: 1. it seems problematic to have a license for an ad-on to a free product, this also restricts your product to the free one (more later on this) 2. You have talked about Doctors and patients using your product. Doctors as far as I know do not use sleephead. Doctors want one product fo...

Re: Same Old Problems Persist

I get leaks sometimes and most of the time I can pull the mask away from my face and "reseat" it, other times I have to sit up, turn the machine off, calm myself down, reseat the mask and turn the machine back on. No idea why sometimes it is different, just is. Numbers remain low, don't wake up beca...

Re: Way to go you Idiots - APOLOGY ALSO

The problem with self moderation is that the person must be able to decide that they are out of line. I really think most think they are just facing reality and we are the ones that are delusional, too soft, wanting to be pampered, and whiners. What they don't seem to understand is that people on th...

Re: Getting A Prescription/Medical Necessity

Mine said brand name I think to make the front office easier-one brand, one program, one report format. Yes you want specifics, if you care about brand then specify it, humidifier, heated tubing, and all the other things stated above. You will have to do a follow-up with your doctor(yes the treatmen...

Re: Way to go you Idiots - APOLOGY ALSO

How about a sticky for new visitors, how the forum works (or not) and a tutorial about the foe button. Then in the thread we can just respond by referring them to the sticky.

Re: Way to go you Idiots - APOLOGY ALSO

The forum owner has clearly stated how they want the forum to operate-unmoderated. If all the decent people leave this forum will become a bunch of rats waiting for a newbie to join so they can pounce and laugh about the latest troll they scared away. Very sad indeed. As for the other place, I actua...

Re: Way to go you Idiots - APOLOGY ALSO

"Only you being the "defender of the good" has come along " ROFL what a hoot. You are wrong on so many levels. You do however give lots of good decent advice, too bad I will miss it from now on. garagelogician- for me the problem with sticking around is that at my age I get to choose who I hang arou...

Re: Way to go you Idiots

A few posts up, it has started already, defending what they do to the end. Claiming that Pugsy has it all wrong and they have it right and are justified in acting the way they do to protect the forum. Would be amusing if not so sad.

Re: Way to go you Idiots

Yea I use it and it helps thin the crap out, I am also sure Pugsy knows about it, I think the main issue for Pugsy is not insulating herself from this, but the effect it has on others especially the newbees that are treated like they are stupid for coming here for help. I truly doubt that the people...

Re: Snoring Badly - Going to AVAPS-AE on Trilogy

I noticed that Resmed has an Aircurve specifically for COPD, I assume that it is new to the market. You might read what they have to say about it. I would expect it would handle CPAP and COPD issues.

Good luck and let me know how it goes.

Re: Way to go you Idiots

Pugsy, I agree some of the stuff is just meant to hurt, humiliate, and make people feel stupid. IF you land somewhere else, I would be honored to know where so I could join up with a more useful place also. I already know about the moderated site and am a member there. Be well and take care. Thank y...

Re: First CPAP advice

"exercise shortness of breath issues. No snoring, no daytime sleepiness" would there be any reason you might have COPD? Smoke, dust, small particle breathing? If there might be a reason get it checked out, if not, well then good to know it's not COPD.
