I do hope you're not washing your stuff in the bathroom... it's the dirtiest room in the house, every time you flush, a spray of fecal bacteria gets ejected into the room, and settles on things...
Most people that waste their time washing equipment do exactly that...They wash it and then leave it in the bathroom all day to dry.
Just clean out the sink. Most people work and are not home during the day when their stuff is drying, so toilet flushing is not an issue. You'll have far less fecal bacteria ejected if you close the toilet before flushing. Even men can be trained to do this, although they tend to be resistant.

I personally find it easier to wash the stuff in the kitchen sink and hang the tubes on a hanger in the kitchen. Once they have stopped dripping, I bring all the stuff to their respective bedrooms. Easy peasy.

I put my mask in the dishwasher every few months. The hose and the headset don't get cleaned. That may sound gross but most people sleep every night without a mask or filter! I replace my mask whenever I can't keep it from leaking.

Is that the same kitchen where you wash food products? And when rinsing, do you use distilled water only? You know... tap water, tubing and faucet ain't quite nasty-free. Even women can learn that.

Oh but we can be trained. It only takes once of not noticing. Also separate bathrooms solve a lot of problems.

there's a lot to be said for that... his and hers potties.

of course, just putting in a urinal next to the potty would solve all the lid problems.

Using Dawn dishwashing detergent (or Palmolive anti-bacterial dishwashing soap) my mask and Padacheek get a twice a week routine soaking and washing. All rinsing takes place with plain tap water. If I sneeze in the mask or drool or whatever, then I wipe it down with some generic wet wipes the next morning. The tank gets cleaned once a week with Control III solution (from our hosts CPAP.com). Read the instructions for diluting. I use only two ounces of the diluted solution in the tank and swish it around and then let it set for a few hours. I'll deploy a Qtip if the corners of the tank get grungy. My hose gets a two hour soaking in Control III once a month, followed by a good tap water rinse. The 3 interface silicone fittings for my PR machine that keep the air in the machine delivery system get taken out and soaked in Dawn maybe every 2-3 months. Hypoallergenic filters get changed once a month.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Wash everything in the bathroom (toilet is in it's own area, apart from the sinks) and hang them up in the closet to dry, once a week (mask & humidifier chamber), hose once every 3 months (not that I think it's necessary, but just because sometimes I'm a little OCD).
