You're right it doesn't. However I was asking why Avi123 responded to this post, and I couldn't see the response. I know creating multiple posts can be confusing for people trying to follow, and I will keep to the same post from now on.palerider wrote:you're posting multiple threads, instead of sticking to one, as has been suggested to you, so now you're getting confused about where responses are, where they're going, what's being said where.... that's another reason to not create lots of threads. grumbling at someone that's pointing out the downside of how you're doing things doesn't change the facts.mzdawn74 wrote:Look, I'm sorry I broke the over posting rule. I think your comment is very rude. People come here for support, not to be belittled and that is what it feels like you are doing. Comments like yours make people (like me) who are already in a hard place feel even more hopeless and then become hesitant to ask for support.
People learn from experience and suggestions from others who have been through similar situations. Isn't that the whole point of a site like this, for people to ask questions? Yes, newbies or certain people might get annoying, but I was taught if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Just my opinion...
How do I approach this sleep vs sleep w/ cpap?

it wasn't clear to me, even in hindsight, that you were talking about avi's post, as to why avi responds to anything... that's a good question, once in a while he makes a relevant response, but usually they're out there.mzdawn74 wrote: You're right it doesn't. why you couldn't see the images he posted, I don't know, perhaps your browser isn't picking them up from wherever he posted them from. I can see them... though I usually keep him on the foe list, since most of his posts make my brain hurt.

Accounts to put on the foe list: dataq1, clownbell, gearchange, lynninnj, mper!?, DreamDiver, Geer1, almostadoctor, sleepgeek, ajack, stom, mogy, D.H., They often post misleading, timewasting stuff.

Re: How do I approach this sleep vs sleep w/ cpap?
A couple things to consider (and experiment with):
Some people need more humidity, and some need less. You will need to experiment with humidity and temp to see what works best for you.
Mask issues. Some people find that having a mask that covers the bridge of the nose will cause them to feel congested. If that is the case, you may need to try a different style mask such as nasal pillows, to see if it works better for you.
If the mask is not causing the congestion, and you can't find a way to reduce the congestion, then you will need a full face mask to allow you to breathe through your mouth.
Try practicing while awake to get used to it. This is not an easy therapy to get used to as we don't normally sleep with an alien on our face. But it is well worth the struggle once you start getting good sleep.

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?

Why don't you just ignore that person's posts?mzdawn74 wrote:Oops..ok. AYR nasal gel has helped with my dry nose, it soothes and cools. I hope you get a good night in soon. I'm living in a fog lately too, no fun for sure.
