Buying decent machine

Post by tiredandscared » Fri Jul 03, 2015 9:50 am

So I've decided to buy a CPAP machine. I'd like peoples advice and tips on user friendly, CPAP models. I mostly have hypoapneas and to lesser extent apneas. I have mild positional sleep apnea ( Oxygen desats stay 99.9% of the time 90% and above, short dips into 89-86, totalling 20-30 seconds, mostly supine). I'm on a limited budget.

it depends what make of CPAP machine is available to you in Sweden at a reasonable price. Can you find out and list them here?

If you have no money you could buy a Didgeridoo and play it instead of using a CPAP machine. A simple Didgeridoo costs less than $30.

I can't afford a brand new machine. But I have enough to get a used machine, even from the US if it's available. I haven't seen any sellers of used sleep apnea machines here. It's kinda impractical with the digeridoo, and live in an apartment, neighbours wouldn't find it acceptable. I'm thinking of a used resmed 9 autopap or resmed 9 escape.

I think Avi has been smoking "funny stuff" in his didgeridoo.

There are two guys in that thread, advertising a machine outside of my budget range. This isn't just about getting a CPAP machine, but also getting advice on which models would be most useful.
