Actually, if it actually did what it promised to do, it would be a great idea since many people find wrist devices easy to use. On a similar note, I will bet that is why wrist devices for measuring blood pressure are popular because many people have trouble using the regular measuring cuffs. I do realize there is controversy as to their effectiveness but it seemed the one I bought last year was accurate. Unfortunately, I thought it wasn't because I kept getting high reading in the doctor's office that turned out to be due to white coat hypertension.
