FEELING SPACEY

Post by rance22 » Fri May 29, 2015 8:11 pm

ON CPAP MY ahi was 22. Tried Bipap and bipap st and still showed AHI of 19.

I am currently on the res med s9 Vadapt servo vent. my AHI is now between 1 and 4 which is a great improvement. Since being on this machine I have the symptom of feeling very spacey...almost like in a haze. It has been about a week on the machine.

I was just wondering if this is something transitionary while I get used to machine and has anyone else experienced this. I do still feel a bit tired in the mornings but not as bad...just spacey.

thanks

Are you keeping track of your blood pressure? The machines can lower it significantly and yours might already have been relatively low - something you want to keep an eye on if it's a factor.

thanks...is there a way to check it at home? my dr checked it the other day and said it was fine but that was later in the day.I find it more in the morning as an issue.
was wondering if my brain isn't used to so much o2?

Blood pressure monitors are very available and not expensive.

You can get decent ones in the $30-$40 range.
Current Settings PS 4.0 over 10.6-18.0 (cmH2O) - Resmed S9 VPAP Auto w/h5i Humidifier - Quattro Air FFM
TNET Sleep Resource Pages - CPAP Machine Database
Put your equip in your Signature - SleepyHead v1.0.0-beta-1
