It happens every day! And who knows whose results those are?

I'm not the only one that's starting to wonder of T&S is just trolling us.
It would be very elaborate trolling. If I was trolling, I'd not post my own results from a sleep study. I'm stressing out because I have anxiety, especially about the prospect of getting cognitive impairement. It's not rational, but I can't control it. What on earth would make someone want to troll a forum dealing with sleep apnea and CPAP machines?
Good answer, Tiredandscared.

We do sometimes get trolling here. A few bad eggs will repeatedly come here posing as new ones just to try to stir things up. It causes some who have been fooled before to have hair triggers in attempts to sniff out posers.

Don't worry about any of that. Please continue to post questions. Rationality is not a requirement here at all.

I'm not one of them. I have genuine sleep problems I want to sort out. And first on my list is sleep apnea, is to either confirm whether it's sleep apnea causing them or something else. This is why I'm intensely interested in it. My anxiety doesn't help either. I keep looking at negative threads within medical literature and articles. It's kinda scary.

I mean people, please don't take my writings as some sort of provocation. It's anxiety and sleep deprivation. The brain fog and potential loss of intellectual function is making it much worse. I tend to have worst case scenario thinking when it comes to disease and health.

I understand. Sleep deprivation impacts us in many ways.
I really think you are working yourself up though, especially since your study says that you don't have sleep apnea.

I think you should request another study or another opinion if are this concerned.

People here have already written excellent responses, such as a home study can determine if you have sleep apnea, but it can't prove that you don't have sleep apnea.

Others have mentioned upper airway resistance syndrome (UARS). And then there's a possibility that it's not to do with poor quality sleep.

What does your report say in regards to periodic leg movements (PLMs)? I can see the word "leg" right at the end but I do not speak Swedish

surprisingly, most trolls don't announce where they're from.

why are you so argumentative? that is one of the things that make people suspect you.

Howdy, EMS! I try to glance in every few months or so. The interview-search post got PMed to me, so thay motivated me to come back to make a heckle post or two.

Good to see you're still here doing your thing.

It's in my nature/personality. I have an argumentative side. But i'm not doing it to provoke or make people feel awry. It's just my way of expressing myself and refining my understanding. And if it looks like i'm fearmongering. it's because i'm anxious myself not because i want to make others panic or feel anxious. I genuinely have health-related anxiety.

Hi there, i stop breathing when i sleep, my husband hears the episodes and i am always exhausted....last week my new dentist told me my soft palette is really low and prohibits air at night when relaxed....trained vocalist, so, the muscles aren't weak, just a genetic thing....anyway, i don't have thousands of dollars to do sleep study etc etc....can i not just get a auto adjust cpap off craigslist, here in portland, oregon united states, and sleep better? if the thing is auto adjusting, why would i need all of the stats anyway? and so many people hate the cpap, it just seems like a huge risk to borrow the money for sleep studies when i could self adjust? any info? this is all really new to me!
thank you!
