Long story short, she sent me home with two trial masks. The N10 nasal mask and a Wisp. Went to bed at 11pm and slept straight through to 7am with the Wisp. Wow!

I'm headed on a road trip tomorrow, and plan to take both new masks to try them out. The nasal masks are more comfortable for me than the nasal pillows, just take a bit of getting used to that breeze on the bridge of your nose.

I'm feeling pretty positive about the help I got and hopeful that I can get some better sleep now and have less dread when going to bed about suffering with the mask on.
That is great news! Good luck to you! Sounds like the educator did make your day!

Sonya if a second CPAP machine is not an option, how about making yours mobile? Something like this cart from Amazon.
Luxor (EC11-B) High Capacity Tub Cart h ... yvb19MC5Z2

Anchor it down good, and you could move the entire unit from one room to another. I have not done this myself but I seem to remember some posts about it.

Searched for cart on this site and found this viewtopic.php?f=1&t=99587&p=926227&hilit=+Cart#p926227

I'm back from a trip to Idaho to help my parents settle in their new house. After moving heavy things all day long, I slept like a rock, even got one 8 hour night on the machine. YAY ME!

I think I sleep better with the N10, although it does make my upper lip sweaty. The Wisp has a much more comfortable headgear, but the mask leaves a sore red mark on the bridge of my nose. I wonder if I have the straps too tight somehow. I get a slightly higher leak rate (small leaks) with the N10 as I am a side sleeper and in the night the mask pushes over just enough to leak into my left eye.

The tech also said she was going to raise my minimum to 8, but I looked and the machine is set to start at 7. Should I bump it up to 8?
