WOW spam removal

Post by cancun » Sat May 23, 2015 10:51 am

is quick here! I was reading that Dr. Stacker post and by the time I finished and knew it was just an annoying sales pitch (never blame me) and went back out it was gone!

Way to go!

yah, those kind of things burn me up... "for only a dollar a day!" for something that likely costs less than a penny... and those dollars add up.

now, if it'd been someone who took the time to register, and be a part of our community, like karen at padacheek, and wasn't grossly overpriced, that'd be different.

Now if we could get rid of the "no more mask " thread and get back business as usual

Without all the trolls and spam.
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Plus a dollar a day is a lot for many of us! I also didn't like that he wasn't registered and how do we know he is a doctor and even if he was he either helped invent those things or has a whole lot of stock in them!

exactly! that's what I'm talking about, that's $365(ish) a year, on top of the other expenses that cpap burdens us with.

that's one of the reasons I have no problem recommending padacheek, their stuff is up front more expensive, but it's made with care, and it's reusable!, they don't say "oh, just help fill up the landfills with it and BUY MORE!

I forget if it's number of posts or length of time as a forum member but at some point you too can help fight crime -- er, spam -- because you will automatically receive your own shiny new "SPAM" button.

Spam removal button is tied to when we formally joined the forum...90 days I think it is and then the spam button becomes available.

The annoying captcha thing for private messages.... I forget what that is tied to but it will go away eventually.

I also read the post about the mask liners that got pulled...wasn't me that did the spam removal...I was thinking about doing it but someone beat me to it while I was thinking about it.
I wanted to go look up the highly touted mask liners myself to see what kind of product they were...so I was doing that while someone else was using their spam button.

It's a product that I hadn't seen mentioned before so I was curious and I discovered that cpap.com actually offers the product.

While I suspect the good "doctor" was just a shill for that particular liner and spam removing it was the correct response I thought that it was more the wording of the post that bothered me than the product pushing itself.
If I was going to go around being a shill for a particular product there are much better/sneakier ways to get it done and not have it be so blatantly spam.

I also noted some of the reviews for the product at cpap.com....it's just like everything else related to cpap therapy...some people loved it and some people hated it.

I picture some individual, lacking ambition or skills, trying to earn money off the internet.
Pathetic!
