Hello,
I was recently diagnosed with OSA. I haven't began using a cpap as of yet. I'm still waiting for the final study which is going to determine what air pressure level works best for me.
I have been experiencing some very disturbing symptoms over the last 6 months which is what prompted me to request to be tested for sleep apnea. I wake up numerous times throughout the night feeling like I can't breath, heart racing, sweating, and sometimes awakened by really bizarre dreams that made no sense.
I've also been having difficulty concentrating, poor memory, feeling confused and disoriented at times, headaches, and feeling very tired all day even after sleeping for 7-9 hours.
My question is can sleep apnea cause all of these symptoms? Will the cpap help reduce or make these symptoms go away? I'm just really worried, I feel totally unlike myself and am very worried. I have been to many doctors and have had tons of testing all of which have come out normal.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Newbie here...many questions!
Getting my study and my CPAP was the best thing I ever did. I could sleep all day before and never felt like I had any rest. I walked around in a cloud. When I got my study it was determined that I was waking up over 90 times an hour. Now I use my CPAP EVERY night.
