Encore Pro Software pack-did YOU get a smart card?

Derek was kind enough to give us a specific set of instructions for the installation. He also walked us thru the "kit".

In Derek's list of things we would see in our package he mentioned a spare
smartcard. I did not get one.

Is this normal now? I bought my "kit" from our host. But I have not found
the "spare SmartCard".

From his list, I didn't get "a copy of the FOSQ questionnaire" either.

How about you? If YOU bought this "kit" ...did you get this stuff?

If you are uncomfortable saying anything here, you can pm me. Put another
way.....if I bought my kit from someone else, maybe they still include all the
items?

Respironics used to include another smart card with their software package. It's been recently reported that that is apparently no longer the case.

Guest, can you be more specific. CPAP.com sells Encore Pro software with the Card Reader, and as the software alone. Which version are you referring to? The description for the version with Reader shows a Smart Card. The software only version does not show a Smart Card. I presume that to mean that the software only version would not include a Smart Card.

The FOSQ questionnaire Test is listed in interactions in the Encore Pro Softwate, after you select the patient. Jim

It is me again, dllfo. You aren't kidding the host program is NOT logging
us in even when we are in, then leave, then come back it is dumping me.

Anyone have any idea why? My cookie settings? I have NOT changed one
darned thing on the computers for ...weeks.

Frustrating. OK...I went to the top of the page...I read the top of the page,
the top of the page says I am logged in. The top of the page has figured
out who I am.

I was the "guest" above. That is about the fifth time today this site has done
this and I never logged off once. I come here, check another item, come back
to pm someone, maybe check Derek's Encore info and so on.

My apologies...wait...just checked the top of the page...thank the Lord, it
did not dump me while I was typing.

I have had more trouble with this site today than the other two forums I am
on in the past 4 years. I will put a sticky tab on the monitor to check every
darned time I change pages in here.

Bill...I bought our hosts kit. The $199 one they advertise in this website.
OK, I am still logged in...type another sentence.

Jim...if I understand you, the questionaire is in the software? I have just
set the wife and I up...still working thru it....wait...better see if I have been
dumped by the site. Nope...ok for another sentence.

I hope you understand I am kidding...a little. But I am serious about my
problems with this site. I have been on boating and RV forums, among
others, for over 4 years...and I have been a "guest" here today more than
all those hundreds of posts I did there. And I do mean hundreds on the
BoaterEd.com site.

Den...thanks, maybe that is what is up. They pulled them. I may ask our
host tomorrow to confirm it. Had I KNOWN they were pulling them I could
have ordered a spare. I will get it from Apria now.

OK, still logged on, but let's see what happens when I click on submit.
Maybe I have a "short" in my keyboard or a problem in my computer, but
this is my "main frame" computer. Strange....Thanks for the info, I will
check it out tomorrow and I now have a sticky up for this site. Maybe I can
avoid being a guest again.

I recently bought the software with reader, it did not come a spare smart card. There also is not a smart card listed in the description. After reading that some people had received smart cards with their software, I called cpap.com and asked. They said that it no longer comes with the smart card. Since spare smart cards are $10 each, I wasn't too worried about it.

The problem is Powered by phpBB © 2001, 2002 phpBB Group , the software isn't as mature as a lot of forum software.

The added Spell Check, can't spell cat. I could run my fine free IE Spell Check, but with this software it just crashes IE.

The only luck with staying logged on it, I run, Window Washer, and dump my cookies a lot and save the site cookies in the cookie keeper, but I am running two almost idenitical machines, and one won't stay logged in no matter what I do and the settings are the same. It's sad.

The pain is worth it for a place where we can learn how to help ourselves and others, so I say Thumbs Up for CPAP.COM Thanks Jim

OK, I looked. I am logged in. I totally rebooted the computer and all.

I don't want to yell too much I guess....they are nice enough to help us, it is
pretty rude of me to gripe about it. Then again, if it weren't for this site, I
would not have bought the software from them.

I hope they make enough to keep the site up.

I have my little sticky tab here and will even put one on my laptop. The info
IS worth it.

Awhile back I had my share of problems trying to log in too. The problem was in my computer.......had a 'booger'.Cleaned it out......and no more problems........I've been here as my own silly self ever since.
