Disparity ibetween Encore Pro and My Encore

Post by TerryB » Mon May 15, 2006 10:25 am

I just looked at my numbers and there are days missing from the compliance chart on My Encore which are there on Pro. So how are the two programs getting different reports out of the same database?

I have noticed the same thing when I use a different Smart Card, the EncorePro seems to make reports based on what card I am using, but the data is stored in the SQL according to my name. The MyEncore program makes reports according to my name and does not care what card I was using. Are you using more than one Smart Card? Or is your DME switching cards on you?

Are they random days or or they consecutive days? The first screen that comes up on My Encore is a preferences page, and you tell it how many days you want to include. I believe the default is 20.

Only using one card, downloaded this morning and the days are several days in a row, missing from the middle of the My Encore compliance report and not from the same period of the Encore pro compliance report. I thought when I looked at My Encore first, that the card had not been seated correctly in the machine, since I had missed one night because I left the card out laying on the table near the computer afeter a download. But then I decided to look at the Pro report and the days were there. I have swapped back and forth in the programs and the reports don't change. I'm glad that if anything has to screw up that it's My Encore, cause the Dr. uses Pro and her report is what counts.

Maybe I am screwing up but I believe that I need to download using Pro and then I can display/report from either using the same data in the database.

Encore Pro is the only one that will download the data from the card.

I believe I've seen someone post this problem with MyEncore before. I think it was suggested to them to uninstall MyEncore and re-install it.

Best wishes,
