The F&P 431 full face mask does not have a port where the PB sensor line can be attached. Has anyone modified a heated hose by attaching a PB sensor line through the hose collar at the point where it attaches to the mask? If so, were the readings in the Silverlining software consistant with what it would have been if the sensor line was connected to a mask through a normal sensor port?

Yoga,
Do you have any mask with a port for the sensor hose? Puritan Bennett's very own Breeze doesn't have one like that - the sensor hose simply dangles from the heated hose, into the mask's connecting hose.

ozij's right. The "mask end" of the PB sensor tube, whether it's inside a regular air hose or inside the Aussie heated hose, just sits loose inside the main air hose.
The only end of the sensor tube that's supposed to be attached to something is the end that you attach to the PB machine. The sensor tube is not attached to a port or anything on any mask. Doesn't matter if the main air hose connects directly to a mask or connects to a short connector hose on a mask. That end of the sensor tube remains inside the air hose, unattached to anything.
