ComfortLite2 Direct Seal

Post by Marzzz » Mon Apr 10, 2006 8:52 am

Out of all the people using the ComfortLite2 is there anyone who got the combo package that includes the direct seal option? This is the one that works as nasal prongs.

I have the simple cushion and the nasal pillows. The pillows are fine, but I would also like to try the direct seal. However, in order to buy them separately you have to know your size. Respironics can't help me here. They say go ask your home medical supplier. Grrr. (Want to avoid that as much as possible)

If anyone who has the 3, 4, or 5 sizes could measure the circumference of the part that goes into the nose in millimeters and let me know, I would be most appreciative. (Hope I'm not asking too much.)

Fitting the Comfort Lite 2 - direct from Respironics no need to contact your home medical suppliear - click on the text.

And here is the Direct Seal Sizing Gauge -- just pop into your printer, and gauge to your heart's (nose's?) content.

Good luck!

Yes, ozij — I have that sizing guide, but it's rather confusing. It doesn't have the individual sizes listed. They are grouped together in clusters. 1-3 is supposed to fit a certain size nostril, then they have 4 & 5 together, and 5 & 6 together. You can't really tell what the difference is between and 4 and a 5 because the chart doesn't say. That is why I need the exact measurements. Unless I want to waste my money on all of them, I need to know which one to buy. Comprende?
