Heated Hose
I know many of you have purchase the Aussie heated hose. I would like to know if after a few months are you still satisfied with the product. Thinking seriously of purchasing one. Tired of the cold air in my nose and mouth.
Thanks,
Judy

Hi Judy,
I have had my Aussie heated hose since July 05 and I still LOVE IT. I can't imagine using my APAP without it. I think that it is well worth the $$$.

Love it
I just got my heated hose a week ago and I LOVE IT. It has made a great difference to me.
It took about 10 days to get to little old Northern Ontario. Got the adapter at Radio Shack (the source-circuit city) and have been so happy that I did.

I've told this story here before, but it bears repeating.
I've had the heated hose a number of months now. When it arrived that night my wife questioned the expense ... until the next morning. When I woke up she noted that I had slept much more soundly (less movement) indicating a deeper sleep than she'd seen me do in years.
Over the next few nights I gradually raised the level of humidification (and my comfort!) while sleeping ever more soundly. I'd say that the heated hose contributed almost as much to my treatment as the xPAP itself did!

Without the heated hose my breeze has a tendency to want to cause my nares to generate sores. Not only that but I get a lot of rainout, dribbles and the like. Also, without the heated hose the coolness of the air also adds to the discomfort of the inserts.
But
With the heated hose, the rainout stops, the inserts are warm and sit very comfortably in my nares and the seal is actually better! I don't really like breathing warm air and it does take a little getting use to, but when you're asleep you don't notice and it dose increase compliance and overall comfort.
