Comfort Curve pads

Does any one have any good ideas on what to use for cheeks pads on the Comfort curve mask the pads that it came with are very uncomfortable!

I use "Panty Liners" and they work very effectively.

I tried the panty liners but found that moleskin works better. You can get moleskin at any pharmacy in the foot care section.

Thank you! I well try the Moleskin I have tried the pantyliner and it seens to be irritating to my face.

Respironics has just come out with foam cheek pads that can be used instead of the ones that came with it. I have ordered them but have not received them yet. I am in Canada so ordered them through my supplier here *cost of shipping is too high). They are available at CPAP.com. They may make quite a difference.

Thank you! I have look at those on the web site, wasn't sure how they would feel on the skin. Please let me know how you like yours. I have only been on cpap for 5 months and have already tried 4 mask and insurance only paid for one of then! If I can find cheek pads for the curve I hope it well be the one> What can you do with the Masks that have just barley tried on? Any suggestion

I have been on CPAP for 3 years and counting and the Comfort Curve is the best mask I have found so far---. I have 4 masks altogether but have only used the Comfort Curve since I got it in October. I have not had any real problems with the cheek pads but do want to try the foam pads. The positioning of the cheek pads is also important for the best comfort. I had mine at the middle spot for along time. About a week ago, I moved it to the lowest spot and it is even more comfortable. I will let you know how the foam pads go for me when I get them. They are $30.00 on CPAP.com.

I came on as Guest, in this last post about the cost of the foam pads, etc., but it is me, Hawthorne, who told you about the availablility of the foam pads earlier this morning.

I just bought a CC mask last week and it came with both the silicon pads and 3 sets of foam ones as well.

I have not tried the foam ones yet, the silicon feels fine to me. I do find that the pads are not in the best place for my cheeks.

I put them under the straps of my mirage ff mask!! It works great! it seals better and they help to absorb sweat!

I got my foam cheek pads for Comfort Curve yesterday and tried them last night. They feel quite different than the silicone ones. I like them although I was not having any real problems with the silicone except on a warmish night. I'm glad to have the 2 options. They can be cleaned and there are cleaning instructions with them. One downside - the information says that they last about 60 days. They are a little harder to put on than the silicone ones.

I cannot get the comfort cure mask to work for me at all. Must be my face shape or something.

The pads hit on my cheek bones and sort of rock a bit and I cannot get a good seal for very long.

I really like the feel over my swift but without a good fit it looks like I just lost some money on this one.

Hey Scott

I had to play with the adjustment on the cheek pads to get it to feel good and mine fits right on my cheek bones too. I found, by trial and error, that the second position from the bottom works best for my face. Other positions seem to pressure my face. Also, the side straps need to be just the right tightness. Hope this helps.
