swift--3rd anchor point

Post by bert » Sat Dec 31, 2005 11:38 am

Having a swift nasal mask for 2 months now-not the best seal, but comfortable. I added a third anchor point- one 12" piece of velcro (the non sticky kind) add it above the swift logo on each side, headed to the rear of the head gear. Double 1 1/4" over around the factory strap and secure with a couple of swtiches of thread (the added strap will come to rest just over your ear) this adds a third anchor point for the head gear--works for me

bert, I sure like to read about the tweaks that can make masks work better for people. Good lab-ratting!!

Doesn't it seem like they always leave out one critical strap on ALL interfaces?

It seems like we end up adding a strap to dial-in the adjustment on most interfaces.
