XL Aura/Headrest Pillows For Sale

Post by Sleepless on LI » Wed Dec 28, 2005 5:26 pm

You can now purchase the XL Aura/Headrest pillows in two places. Claudia of this site wrote me a reply email tonight saying, yes, they do have them and they sell for $45, however they were never placed on the site for sale. Or you can go to http://www.cpapsuperstore.com and they're $30.

I have made Claudia aware of this big difference in price and hopefully they will maybe either reduce the price to match the other site or honor a price matching policy if you make them aware of it if you order it by phone, which I would imagine would be the only way to do it since they don't have them on the web site.

Thought this information may be helpful to anyone who has been waiting for the XL pillows.

I know that that this has been asked before but I can not seems to find it. Where is the vent on the Aura and what direction does the air go out? I was under the impression that the vent is some distance away. I tried the Breeze but it was too much like a grabbling hook, Is this softter than the Swift?

The exhaust vent is located at forehead level and exhausts up (if your standing). I agree with you on the Breeze. The Aura is softer than the swift.

I retouched this picture, adding an arrow and the word "vent".
The exhaust is where the word "vent" and the bottom of the arrow is
-- up at forehead level.
The exhaust air shoots straight up just like the arrow.

John, the "Headrest" ("Aura") has the smartest exhaust design
of any interface I've ever used. It doesn't hit anything!
You can pull a blanket up in front of your face, covering your eyes,
and still not be blocking the exhaust at all.

Almost... if you've go the hose coming from a scruchie on the wall the exhaust might hit it and cool it....

Gee thanks for all the replies the Aura may be the latest thing to try. I also have the Comfortable but the headgear is not conformable over a period of time, the hard plastic presses in the skull. I head that it may be redesigned. The dreamfit remains my choice in nasal maks but the switft give a lttle bit beter treatment at a lower pressure and that is why I am interested in the Aura.
