*Water in you mask and hose is called "rainout" - many of us (myself included) ordered a heated hose from http://www.sleepzone.com.au - in Australia. Being Australian, they call it a "heated tube". It does wonders. The company is very reliable, and delivers all over the world.
*You can use Ayr Gel, or KY Jelly to lubricate you nostrils when using a nasal pillows mask. I usually the Breeze with nasal pillows, and used KY jelly for months. Even with KY Jelly, after the first week my nose was sore enough for me to need to take a 2-3 night break from mask use (recommended by me RT). But, having let my nostrils heal then I haven't needed any break since (abt. 7 months).
*Until you get your heated hose, try lowering the humidifier's temperature.
*Logging in: take a look at the top of the screen - there are "faq" "search" "login" etc. buttons.
*Try the "cpapopedia", "cpap faq", and "cpap video" buttons above the message list as well.
*Even as a guest you can create a new topic, and the more specific the subject, the better.
Set yourself some time to search and browse the forum messages, you'll fine lots of info. Also, the host of this forum, cpap.com has a list of faqs on their site, very informative.
Hang in there - for many of us it takes time - and some of us are still here because of the great help this forum was when things felt dreadful.
Good luck, and keep us posted!
