Halloween NightM-Air

Post by mikemoran » Mon Oct 31, 2005 8:58 am

I’ve been on this therapy for a while now and never got to experience the vivid dreams every one talks about until last night. Have to tell you that if the dreams keep up like this one I may just have to reconsider turning my machine on at night. I had just snuggled in, donned my mask and was off to sleep before my head even reached the pillow. Then my unreality took a turn for the worse.

Swimming in the sea of dreams I realized I was a whale just drifting along singing to all the wonderful creatures around me. There was this octopus clearly enjoying my serenade as it dance along my back. It must have been love struck because it attached itself to my blowhole and the kind of dancing it started then was clearly inappropriate. I blew and I blew but I couldn’t make it stop. To try and dislodge it I decided to hold my breath.

That was clearly a mistake cause the next thing I knew a nearby fog horn started to sound. A minor wheeze at first building the most horrendous sound I had ever heard. So I started breathing again and as the octopus pumped the air out of me the sound started to decrease. I huffed and I puffed furiously until the sound retreated to just a murmuring sigh. It was like this all night long moments of peace then the noise would resume.

I did find that on occasion if I blew really hard there would be this leaking bladder noise followed by the octopus being tugged at. This then became a game to see how much my miniature paramour could take. It seemed like days until finally he was ripped away and I could return to doing my whale thing.

When I woke in the morning I had found my mask thrown across the room and felt miserable. My CPAP on the other hand was looking all bright eyed and bushy tailed. Perplexed, I started to look at my set up only to realize one of the kids succeeded in reversing the plug on my machine. It was a hell of a night for me but I am proud to report my CPAP only had an AHI of 2.3.

Right now I do this for fun, but you never know. You think there are enough sleep deprived people out there to keep me in cheeseburgers? LOL

Let's ponder this........
U.S. population approx. 295,000,000 (WAG).
If you got a nickel from every sleep deprived person, approx. 25%. (another WAG).
Maybe around $3,687,500??

That's a lot of cheeseburgers!
Do you want fries with that?

But, Brain
What if we calculated using world population?

Quiet! Pinky
I'm pondering.
WooHoo! Life is good.
I get a little cocky when I am "NO LONGER TIRED"
