Letters to PAPhouse

Post by mikemoran » Wed Oct 26, 2005 7:50 am

Dear PAPhouse.
I haven’t had a dream experience this good since those twin coed gymnast hitchhikers, but that was a letter to another magazine. My doctor diagnosed me with sleep apnea during my morning physical and sent me to Sleep Lab that very evening. I was made to feel so comfortable when I got there I couldn’t wait to go to sleep. The techs there were amazing as they attached those gossamer wires to me and led me to the most fantastic bed I had ever slept in. It seems like moments after I nodded off they gently woke me to attach my mask. They settled it on my face like a well fit glove and I drifted back to sleep not even knowing it was there.

The next morning I woke totally refreshed and my mind had never been clearer. Just to test myself I started solving quadratic equations in my head. This therapy is just sort of miraculous and I couldn’t wait to get started. Once dressed, after a huge breakfast buffet, I was led into the fitting room. There they outfitted me with the best autoPAP on the market, heated humidifier, heated hose and a complete assortment of masks to try. The tech sat down with me and carefully explained how to access the clinician menu and the various pressures I should try to improve my therapy once I got home. After showing me every way I could adjust my masks to get secure and comfortable fits they sent me home to enjoy my new lifestyle. The most amazing part is they didn’t even charge me a co-pay.

Dear PAPhouse,
I have to admit I am a bit better endowed than most, guess my size 14 shoes are a bit of a give away. To all that say “Size doesn’t matter”, I beg to differ with you. Not everything fits and that has been the bane of my existence till now. The first time I saw her I knew things were going to be different. Holding her made my heart pound and my nostrils flair. Her pillow soft touches as we laid down let me know I was going to experience something I had never felt before. As we exchanged breaths we became as one and I thought it doesn’t get any better than this. Nor was I disappointed all through the night and every night since.

To the power that created her all I can say is “You have made my life complete and thank you for finally providing an XXL nasal pillow interface”

WooHoo! Life is good.
I get a little cocky when I am "NO LONGER TIRED"
