I am in agreement with a number of others on this board the that AEIOMed folks are really on to something with the Aura. Nonetheless, in my experience, and judging by the number of posts about tweaks, it isn't perfect - yet. Maybe word will get to them somehow and Aura 2 will be a real winner! With that in mind, here's what I'd like to see in the next round
1. Scale down the size. I wear a rather large size hat and find the Aura just fits me. I have all the sliding/locking pieces are pushed to their smallest location. If it were scaled down this would not only fit more people, but would give those of us at the higher ends of the cranium size scale more options for fine-tuning the fit.
2. Include an optional stretchy strap to anchor the pillows for those at higher pressure or who otherwise have problems getting it to stay put. I don't really think we should have to buy headbands and pantyhose to keep our respiratory equipment in place. On the other hand, I don't want to stifle the wonderful creativity that has gone into designing different rigs!
3. A detachable short tube on the top. I'm compulsive. I want to take it apart to dry and disinfect everything.
4. Optional Aura snuggles to match snuggle hose covers maybe?
Other thoughts? I really think this interface has great potential. How nice if we could have input into the next edition!
Have a good day, everyone, and a better night.
Beth

Back when the Aura first came out, and I found I needed to add one stretchy strap, then two...I did contact Aeiomed with some pictures and suggested that the headgear was "too big" for most women.
They were polite. Nothing changed.
Soon after, I heard from someone else who had been in contact with Aeiomed and who had asked them if they'd seen my pics. One of the higher-ups had this to say (or similar words) about my strap modifications:
"Yes, I've seen the pictures, and the reason it doesn't work for people is because they are adding all those straps!"
heheh.

Well, gee, do we give a prize for most blind to customer/client needs? I never hold out hope that a company will care what I have to say about them. I wrote to the Aura folks with a question, too - no response.
But wouldn't you think, as a new company trying to get established, they might be a little more concerned about customer feedback?
Then again, arrogance didn't hurt that huge computer software and operating system company that continues to count its money while it scoffs at torturing its users.
So, what's to stop us from buying a Breeze and rigging it the way we want???
So there. Neener neener neener! Do we have an icon for making razzies?
