Ode for a Mouth Breather

Post by mikemoran » Thu Sep 29, 2005 9:29 am

Mask held tightly with my pantyhose strap
Turn on the blower and they begin to flap

Following a beat wild and random
They dance on my face with wild abandon

Treating my face to soothing vibration
As they slap together in a joyous celebration

Tried tape, clothespins and staples all to no avail
Turn on my machine and across the room they do sail

Strapped on a full face mask with a high tech seal
Never able to stifle that gastrointestinal squeal

Though due to lack of sleep I may stumble and stagger
I am proud in the knowledge I have lips like Mick Jagger

Maybe I should stick to hose prose LOL

That's it. Too much fate here regarding my husband and OSA. He's been told his whole life he looks just like Mick Jagger...he must be examined for this.

Oh my goodness, thanks to Mike's "hose prose" I've just discovered there are two (actually 4 kinds of hoses in this therapy: There's a cpap hose, for the machine (three kinds of those - regular, PB with sensor and Comfotr Curve) and there's the panty hose too.

Do you think we're going to find a choice in panty hose colors, just like there is one in the Comfort Curve (which has it's own hose)?

Most excellent poetry! Could that be called "Ode to the Hose"?

So cool, Mike!

ozij, nice pun on "hose".
Do you think we're going to find a choice in panty hose colors, just like there is one in the Comfort Curve (which has it's own hose)?
But of COURSE!! Only thing is...the panty hose, whatever their color, work BETTER than the CC, whatever its color. The panty hose leg is cheaper, too.
