CPAP Humor - Book Title Search

Post by mikemoran » Tue Sep 27, 2005 7:19 am

Sleeples on LI (Lori) was talking about pulling all the humor from this site and compiling a book. So I thought we probably should get some suggestions for a title. The following are mine:

Its Not S&M Its Therapy

The Adventures of Elephant Man and Pantyhose Gal

Fun with CPAP or How my Doctor gave me a prescription for ballloon sculpting

Thats Not a Toaster its a Medical Device

Home Depot and Do It Yourself CPAP Masks

How to Pick Your Orifice

This Really Blows

Shake Hands With Your Nostrils a Collection of I'm Not Dead-Time Stories

Mike,
I know I comment on all of your posts, but I can't help it. When I saw you wrote a new thread, I had to read it. When I read the first title, "It's not S&M It's Therapy," I laughed so loud my husband had to come upstairs to see what I was laughing about. He and I read the post together and both thought you were hysterical.

Seriously, thank you so much for making this such a fun site with your posts. Usually I can be creative and add to the discussion. But when I read your humour, it totally throws off my train of thought because I'm laughing so hard.

Did I know you in high school??? I had this friend Bobby who you could never go near without him telling you literally joke after joke after joke. You'd walk away with a stomach ache from laughing so hard, but the relaxation you feel after you stop...laughter is truly the best medicine and I have to thank you for the doses you've been giving out lately. Please keep it up!

How about:-

CPAP and all the CRA P!

Tales of an elephant man

Ventolation for the timid

Huff n Puff - No it's not magic!

Laugh at them, not with them! A third party view of OSA treatment

Thinking about Nostrils ...

'Not now dear, I've just strapped on my mask ...'

Gone with the wind?

When taping their mouth shut is legal....

Hose-listic treatment ... not quite natural!

Just add air

I'm dreaming .... (of an octopus strapped to my face)!

The Tempest ... all bottled up and ready to go ...

OK I'm getting a little sureal here ... it's been one of the days so far and it's not even 10am!!!!!!!

Of course I think it should be called

'The Bumping Grumping Haffalump - and other stories about tubes!'

But then I'm biased (for those who don't know, it's a reference to a previous poem I wrote about CPAP).

I look forward to reading more ideas

Hope you are serious about compiling the humour on this site ........ but what an exercise for someone. Whom should we volunteer?

Perhaps each member should offer up what they think were their funniest contributions, to the volunteer Editor (and not be offended if overlooked).

Would need an occasional cartoon though.
