Cardiovascular Disease and Sleep Apnea

Post by neversleeps » Fri Sep 09, 2005 8:06 pm

I stumbled upon this while on a search. It's a pretty sobering piece of information....

If anyone out there is about to give up on CPAP therapy, think again!!

Very sobering, neversleeps. Thanks for posting that.

Oh, just thought of something....the "SDB"s are only the ones that eventually get diagnosed with Sleep Disordered Breathing, right? Think of the ones that no doctor ever looks for it.

Thanks for the post neversleeps, my Family Dr. ordered my sleep tests because of the elevated BP, which was impossivble to controll but has been controlled very easily since I started CPAP therapy. It is amazing that so few know of the connection of all the health problems caused by Apnea.
