Mask problems with higher pressures

Post by Fatigue Fighter » Mon Sep 05, 2005 3:29 pm

Grumble, grumble, grumble I was so comfortable with the Mirage Swift Nasal Pillow mask but now that my pressures are so much higher, I can't keep the Swift mask on all night even with lubricants. I have a full face back up mask that I purchased in case I got a cold and actually need it. It tried that for half the night last night but I awoke with a very puffy (and sore) face. It's okay insofar as no air leaks but I am not a mouth breather so I wonder if there is a full face mask on the market that directs the air closer to the nose instead of right at the mouth. I have chapped lips now to boot! So I am looking for a mask that won't make my face puffy or chap my lips (and is reasonably comfortable). Help!
