DreamFit: Nights 3 and 4

Post by TXKajun » Tue Aug 23, 2005 8:33 pm

Okie dokie, folks. I finally got a chance to download the last 2 nights data and I'm am totally astonished! In fact, I kinda sorta wonder if something went wrong with the software or the recording, but it looks similar to all the others. So, here it is:

Night 3: AHI 0.2!!! 90% Pressure = 10 cm Acoustical vib = 3.4
Night 4: AHI 0.0!!!! 90% pressure = 9 cm Acoustical vib = 0.6

Holy cow! This therapy WORKS!!! And so does the DreamFit!!

Nuff said, no? I'll report more after 7th night. Sleep tight, ya'll.

Is that great good for you. The sizing chart here on CPAP is saying my nose is not a good fit with this mask. I thought that I had standard European nose go figure.

Congrats TXKajun! On both the AHI numbers and the fact that you just found an activa thats ~$20 less.

On the subject of sizing - unfortunately, this mask fits a more narrow range of users than we'd like. We suggest you do visit the cpap.com DreamFit product page and click "Find My Size" before buying as it won't fit everyone.

Thanks for the report Kajun! I am definitely going to look into it, as I have a disComfortGel right now and will be looking into getting a replacement in a couple months. It's working but it seems I have to keep making adjustments to maintain a seal and I'm getting tired of wearing tape on the bridge of my nose to prevent pressure sores.

Sarge, my DreamFit is so teeny-tiny it doesn't even reach the bridge of my nose! What a change after using an UltraMirage Full Face mask for 7.5 months!

This therapy WORKS!!!
