Dr. Sue is BAAAACK!
Dr. Sue is BAAAACK!
Got Dr. Sue's impression kit for his NoseBreathe device today in the mail. He must have a tremendous backlog from this site's members, based on all the topics touching mouth leaks. Hope everyone else who ordered one gets it soon!
Please do keep us posted on how they work out!
I have a do it yourself tongue guide, but it sure would be nice to have an effective alternative for the less handy.
The tongue guide is an amazing breakthrough for me. I sure hope this device works for others as well as my variation works for me.

Dr Sues toybox arrived
My Dr Sue toybox just arrived this minute.
Hmmmm, what a strange box - nearly broke it trying to open it (trying to lift the 4 lugs at the same time to get lid off)
This looks just like what my dentist did for my original mouth guard (now well worn & needing retirement).
I think the maint trick with these moulds is to avoid air bubbles when our teeth go into the material.
How did you others go in taking your moulds, happy with your effort ?
Cheers

Hi guys,
I guess kneading the two clays well and quickly is important. Roll into a short cigar and bend into a U for the tray. I think I made mine too long and had a thinner mold. I was concerned but did not want to take more time by re-rolling a fatter cigar.
It's easy to bite hard. I held mine for a around five minutes and when I removed it, it separated from tray. Could not get it back in tray fully so I think I added tape to keep it close to tray while it was in box on way back to Dr Sue. I also added paper in box so it won't rattle.
Hope it works for you as well as it did for me.
