We're snugglers - which nasal pillow system is best?

Post by Sleepy in Somers » Sat Jun 18, 2005 8:47 am

Hi all, have a big problem with CPAP - I love using it, but my wife CAN'T STAND IT!!! It scares her, keeps her awake, etc. etc. Plus we both don't like the fact that snuggling/spooning becomes almost impossible.

I use a nasal pillow system because I have a beard and mustache - currently Adams Circuit - and want to change. Is there any nasal pillow system - right now, I'm thinking of Nasal Aire, SNAPP, or Swift - that is more "low impact" than the others in terms of its impact on your sleeping partner? Thanks.

In my experience, the Swift blows more air in a set direction (away from your face) than the FlexiFit 407 nasal mask. You can also adjust the direction in which the air blows with the FlexiFit.

My cats don't like the Swift either. Blows too much air at them! <LOL>

S.I.S.

Take a look at the AEIOmed aura. The exhaust blows staight up and out of the way. It feels like a baseball cap to wear. It's very unobtrusive.
