EncorePro and MyEncore

I am using EncorePro 1.41 Rev 4 and have downloaded Derek's MyEncore. However, when I try to start MyEncore I get the message, "Unable to access an EncorePro data base. MyEncore will close".

I followed the download instructions, but can't seem to get the two programs to talk to each other.

Suggestions?

First you downloaded EncorePro.
You have installed .net
Then you installed Derek's MyEncore.

I don't know why its not working. I guess I'd PM Derek. He'll know what's wrong.

I suggest to check if MS SQL is running when you start MyEncore. Both Encore Pro and MyEncore need MS SQL running, since they read data from the database. MS SQL can start automatically when Windows is booting, or can be started manually according to the your service-setup. There is small icon showing the status of MS SQL, it is green when the service is running.
