Private Message - how to reply to a PM you received

You received a private message (PM) and want to reply to it:

1) If you're reading a private message that you want to reply back to in private, hit the "Post Reply" button at the bottom.

2) Type your private reply.

3) Before you hit "Submit" to send your private reply, always doublecheck by looking up above for these important words in the pale blue bar ... "Reply to a private message".

"Reply to a private message" means that what you've written and are ready to send will really be sent to just that one person. It won't go out openly to the message board. It will go only to the person whose nickname appears up in the Username box.

4) After you've assured yourself by seeing those magic words "Reply to a private message", hit the "Submit" button at the bottom. That will send your reply to just that one person.

You don't have to worry about the "Save" or "Delete" buttons. They have nothing to do with whether your reply goes privately to the one person.
