Aura - I tried the medium & it works great!
Last night, just out of curiosity, I tried the medium nasal seal. Though it is slightly less comfortable than the large, it did seal better. My guess is that until the XL is released the medium will work the best for me. How 'bout that!

Wader, confused from England calling
It seems strange to say that a medium, which is presumably smaller than a large, should be less comfortable but seal better than the large, and then to imply that you will use the medium until the extra large is available. I've no doubt you know what you're talking about, but it just sounds a bit counter-intuitive
Me no understand

I actually thought it was down right counter-logical (can't use British undestatement in the yes or no realm of logic, can I?)littlebaddow wrote:I've no doubt you know what you're talking about, but it just sounds a bit counter-intuitive

Well, we Brits are always diplomatic and I didn't want to risk upsetting nice Mr Waderozij wrote:I actually thought it was down right counter-logical (can't use British undestatement in the yes or no realm of logic, can I?)

To explain further:
The medium (because it's smaller) extends into my nostrils farther. I think this creates a more stable seal, but also is in contact with more of the soft tissue inside my nose instead of resting on the more rugged tissue on the outside of my nose. The reason that the large is too small is that the smaller cone portion of the nasal seal is slightly too small for my nares. This is also the case with the medium, but with the medium, it is not the cone portion that is making the seal. This is why I think the medium and the XL will be the two that work best for me.

Got it, I think
So the large is not sealing properly, at the depth you want it, and the medium seals properly, but intrudes too much.
Is that it?

Kind'a ... The large seals OK but could be better. The medium seals better but i s less comfortable. This is why I'm guessing the XL will seal better and be more comfortable. The two I've tried works good enough to use without trouble though.

This is very strange but I, too, tried the medium last night. I had tried the large and they kind of bothered my nose. I put the medium in last night and left the thing on all night. No problems.
Will try again tonight and see if I experience the same thing. This may be the beginning of a beautiful thing, we'll see.

Update: two perfect nights with the medium seal. Seems to work better for me than the large. This is perplexing to me because the large Swift pillows worked best for me and they are larger than the aura large. BTW, the aura medium now seems quite comfortable for me. I guess the moral is to experiment a little with different pillow sizes and find the one that works best without regard to what size you think you need.

I received my Aura Wednesday and used the large for three nights. On Saturday I thought, "Gee, I haven't even taken the medium out of it's bag". I tried it on and it sealed much better than the large. Slept with it last night and it was great!
I guess those guys at AEIOmed really do know what they're doing.
