Best night With AURA!

Post by Mikesus » Fri Apr 01, 2005 6:02 am

Here are the stats from Encore Pro:

90% Pressure: 12.2
AVG Pressure: 10.4

Indexes:

NR: 0.0
FL: 1.5
OA: 0.0
H: 0.3
S: 12.2

Leak AVG: 28.52

Found that my chin strap was causing the pressure to go up, so I loosened it and ended up with the following times at each pressure:

9 177.5 min
10 81.0 min
11 68.0 min
12 112.0 min
13 28.0 min

When I was using my Ultra Mirage FF mask, my 90% pressure was 14.5 and I would spend at least a third if not more of the night in the 12-14.5 pressure range.

AURA gets a BIG thumbs up from me!!

Now last night I think I was just being a big, fussy baby. I decided not to wear my CPAP. I just wanted to sleep with nothing on my face for one night. It was so nice!!!

I know its not good for me so tonight, I'll be strapping the beast on again.

Sleeping with the Enemy, who is beginning to wonder if the mask is the enemy and not the OSA.

More comfortable than my Ultra Mirage. I think the xlarge will probably be a bit more comfortable tho, but as is, it is very livable.

. . . and I thought I liked my Mirage Activa. Last night was my first with the Aura and I was really surprised at how comfortable it was. No slippage while moving and no irritation. This is a great product and the XL will be a nice addition when available.

Hi Dan,

Nice to see you are an aura convert. It sure is a comfortable way to get treatment. Maybe I'll see you later this month at the AWAKE meeting. This time I'll bring the cake.
