I have a Mirage Vista mask(deep) and I have a problem with the tip of my nose protruding into the hole where the hose elbow connects and once in a while it hits the perimeter of the hole, is this normal or is the mask too small for me, that's the largest they make for that mask. I did grind out some of the material from around the hole, which made it more tolerable.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so what did you do if anything? I hate to get ride of this mask, it works pretty good for me, except for my nose protruding into the elbow area of the mask.

pretty common for that mask, reason it is NOT a very popular interface. It is also very noisy, has poor air delivery, the hard plastic on the headgear digs into your ear lobes.
could have warned you of those problems before the purchase, but sometimes people just have to find out those things on their own.

someday science will catch up to what I'm saying...
Right on snoredog, but I haven't purchased the mask yet, I will give it one more try tonight and if I still feel uncomfortable with the nose thing, I'll return it for another nasal mask. I'm trying to find one that will maintain a good seal without putting pressure on the turbinates, thereby restricting air flow which raises my cm pressure, which increases my chances for areophagia. The vista so far has decreased the pressure on my Turbinates, but the nasal cushion is just not deep enough for my nose. You would think that they would have made a couple more cushion sizes to accommodate larger noses, oh well I still have my tried and true CC mask, at least while I continue my search for a better nasal mask.Snoredog wrote:pretty common for that mask, reason it is NOT a very popular interface.
