First of all... My aunt is looking to sell her Resmed S8 Elite machine (and card) and Humidaire H3i Heated Humidifier that has 15 hours of use. I came out here to do a bit of research and found that her particular model has been recalled.
My question is.... Can I deal directly with Resmed to get this replaced or will she have to deal with her DME?
This sure is a cute little bugger. I'm almost tempted to keep it as a backup, except that it isn't a Bi-PAP.
Thanks for any help you might provide me!

From what I understan, if it is on the recall list (see here viewtopic.php?t=19396), then she will need to contact DME or vender she got it from to replace it. They will need to reset to Rx settings.
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

I have an S8 Vantage that I bought used. It is subject to Recall. Any DME "should" handle the replacement for you. Just take it in, let them verify the serial number, they add that serial number to their Requisition list, and you are given a replacement if they have that model in stock or they call you when the replacement comes in for you to come in and make the exchange.
