Thanks for posting about the recall.
Checked my Elite and sure enough it is on the list.
Darn and I love that little puffer.
Now I don't know what to do. Went to the site but there was no place, that I saw, to register to get it replaced.
And I don't trust my crooked DME so I don't really want one from them particularly.
Wonder if I should call them and ask.
I bet they wouldn't know anything about it.
But, in their defense, it is a relatively new event and since I just found out I suppose it isn't realistic for them to know since they have their head so far up their ass.

it is my understanding that it is the "socket" connector residing inside the machine that is defective.
Their press release states they were taking a $59.7 million dollar charge for the recall and it covered some 300,000 machines. Doing the math on those numbers that is about $196 each, so that is either a very expensive power cord replacement or they are replacing the machine which is what it reads to me when they say "device".
