Some of us have had difficulty not being able to view our reports because of a control\registered problem. If any of you have this problem, view the current topic "Encore Pro pre release". With the help of "jskinner" I was able to get to my reports. I have found posts going back a long time on this one and I hope this fix works for the rest of you.
Thank you jskinner

To summarize, this is a problem with a 3rd party control called the 'ComponentOne Chart 8.0 2D Control' not being registered properly. It manifests itself as the error: "Cannot instantiate control. Control not registered CLSID=(58A968A5-E3CE-4743-9CE4-A27357009527)"
The fix is to:
1. Open windows Command Prompt (Start->Programs-Accessories->Command Prompt)
2. type "cd C:\Program Files\Respironics\Encore Pro"
3. type "regsvr32 olch2x8.ocx"

Re: Encore Pro cannot instantiate control
Thanks James for you input. You are spot on. Registered via the command prompt as you said it Encore Pro is working as it did before, smooth. What happened is somehow I think I corrupted or removed some files or registry.
