Problems With Breeze

Post by puffing billy » Sun Sep 10, 2006 12:59 pm

I have just tried out my spare Breeze nasal pillows and noticed a small air leak in the shell holding the pillows. It is at the joint between the top and bottom shell. I tested it by covering the pillows and the exhaust, immersing it in water and blowing through the pipe and bubbles coming out of the joint confirmed it.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Generally I like Puritan Bennett equipment but the quality control is poor.
This is the second thing that has gone wrong as my Goodknight humidifier packed shortly after delivery.
Probably why I prefer Respironics.

I had the same problem,

I solved it with a bit of pvc cement-
the kind you repair lawn sprinkler pipe with.

I just dabbed a bit into the seam and held it together and wi stopped it.

Superglu may work too, b ut be sure to hold it tight while it sets.

I have mended mine with with two pack epoxy glue.
This will set overnight.
Its pretty annoying to have to mend something thats new.

Are you guys talking about the seam where the two shell halves come together?

You guy are beginning to give me buyer's remorse as I have the Breeze on back-order and expect it to be delivered sometime this week.

President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

that is a factory defect, and is returnable...I wouldn't attempt repairs if I could get a freee replacement

Hi Roberto
Don't panic the Breeze is still a good piece of equipment and it will be worth waiting for, I am a confirmed Breeze user hence having two.

PB products are cleverly designed, but the quality can be a problem.

In answer to guest, I would return it except I live in the UK and I bought it in the USA, hence its easier to repair it.
