Hybrid Customer Service

Post by new2 » Fri Sep 08, 2006 5:54 am

Looks like the velcro on the very top of my Hybrid headstrap is wearing a little thin and I have it pinned. I'm very ready for my new strap, wherever it comes from and although I'm not rich, this mask is my favorite so I'll gladly pay. I'll gladly pay as long as it's not more than, say, $30.00.
I read Johnnys post from the manufacturer and I think Respcare and Innomed were very generous with giving away all their spare prototype parts and what have you, but I want that super strap everyone raved about before they ran out. Now, here's my question.
Who do I call to stand the best chance of scoring a super strap? Did the lucky ones call Innomed's customer service or Respcare's customer service? Has anyone tried Teleflex's customer service (a great way for Teleflex to be known for outstanding down home unselfish customer service like Innomed) for a new strap? Or Hudson RCI's customer service, anyone tried them? Is CPAP.COM or some other company making headstraps for Hybrid users to buy? What's the scoop, my fellow happy Hybrid users? Can you hook me up? This fabulous mask deserves something more than the same strap with extra velcro, so someone must be making something somewhere, right?

I just spoke to the woman that Snoozie_Suzy had some luck with earlier. I had called sometime ago and left a message and she never did call back. This time I connected. She said that the new strap would not be available for 1-1.5 months and that some folks had success with stick on velcro. She also took my name and number and said that she'll see about getting me one of the new super-duper headgears when they do become available.

I'll have to examine my current strap, which felt apart after the first washing, and see if the stick velcro will work. I am concerned about the coming blockbuster allergy attack I get every year, at least once, during Ragweed season. The Hybrid will be my only hope when it does come.
