You misread the article ... that is not at all what it said. It basically stated that CPAP may not help those with "complex" (central or mixed apneas) sleep apnea syndrome.

I think EVERYBODY has been misreading these articles (and there have been a number of them in different publications). The doctors have known about these CSDB patients for quite some time. The point of the articles (although it seems to be briefly stated) is that they (doctors) FINALLY did a "STUDY" on a couple of hundred patients so they could write this report.
