Yup.
A year old.
Last night, as I was falling asleep it started going up and down up and down - noise-wise. Then it suddenly stopped. Restarted. Stopped. By the time I had my mask off, glasses and light on, it was cycling between 1.5 and 2.5, till eventually it discovered the mask was off, and its should show "ln 1". A few days ago it showed an Err 13. or something to the effect, but I thought (hoped?) it was the result of my just having jiggled the electric cable. There was no chance of that being the issue last night.
The low of 1.8 is acutally reported in the details screen. Lowest pressure measured at the mask was 3. An not leaks - as a matter of fact, you can see the maximum leak line dip while the pressure goes down.
I should be getting a temporary replacement tomorrow, which will at least give me a chance to compare noise.
Grrrr.

420e
My 420e has acted a bit strangly, mines 2 weeks old.
The following happened:
1. During severe rainout it stopped twice then restarted. Trouble is the psu was not properly plugged in, so now I am not sure.
2. The humidifier keeps tripping out even on 1. I did find the magic reset button tho.
After these events my results seemed to have changed.
I am thinking of getting a spare machine, but these events have not helped. So I am not sure what to buy.

I bought mine in Isreal, where I live. The DME shipped the replacement today, it will arrive tomorrow. He asked me to bring him the faulty machine from me next time he's in Jerusalem, which will be two weeks from now - , and they'll try to fix it. Which means I'll be sleeping with the replacement machine for at least 3 weeks.reval wrote:A few days ago, cpap.com shipped a permanent replacement for my 420E.
The PB 420 series have a lot of potential, but PB seems to have seriously screwed up their manufacturing process/quality control (at least for a while, my 420E was also about a year old).
I'll let you all know what was wrong and how it was fixed...
