sandman19---and I am signed in! I have checked the "keep me signed in" box checked multiple times and it rarely happens. I wrote a long post today-should have been signed in- and it wouldn't post because I wasn't signed in. I tried to sign in and got the "you've tried to sign in too many times" box. I waited 45 minutes, signed in without problem, and now I have lost my long post!

several days ago I wrote a long post and it was not accepted by it contained words/letters "not accepted". I've seen those words many times in these pages or they are innocuous (P.E. for pulmonary embolism). What's going on?

You allow non-physicians to give medical advise and recommend drug therapy and recommend getting the drug off the internet and it gets by-see topic about pulmonary hypertension and Delta Dave's response, that is what should not be allowed!

A lot of times you have to save the log in cookies that you receive from cpaptalk.com. I use a cookie saver for all my log in places and have no problem at all with any of the places I go to.

I don't know if you have anything to do with chat. If you do handle chat, perhaps you could address this: we cannot post links in chat. I don't know if this is deliberate or accidental. If it is deliberate, I'd like to ask you to consider changing that policy. It is very hard to help newbies when you cannot easily paste a link to a useful topic. It isn't just a recreational chat inconvenience, it really does make it harder to help those who really need help in the moment.

If you do not handle chat problems, perhaps you could direct me to the correct person? It would be much appreciated.

Carolyn, I still am not getting update email notifications or notifications about new PMs. The last ones I received were on Oct 24, 2011. I sent an email to Sam recently asking him to please take another look at this but apparently he is on extended vacation. Others were copied so someone there should have the details. I can't get anywhere on my end trying to resolve it without your guys help at that end. Neither I nor Godaddy can find anything right off hand that would be blocking them. Godaddy needs to see the bounce back messages to figure out if it's something there that's causing the problem.
Please help. I now I'm only one member, but......... It's been 5 months now. The problem began when you made server changes in October.

When you cursor over the thread title, all that appears is "New posts."
What should appear instead is the first 15 to 20 or so words of the post.

Thread titles are often very non-descriptive - this would solve that and greatly improve the useability of the site.

For the past three days, I've had to log in each time I come here, even though I check 'Log Me In Automatically Each Visit'. Not a big problem, more of an inconvenience, but it's not happened to me before. 'Tis a puzzlement.
