Re: Comfortlite 2
I don't have any experience with it, but, I have one that I got from a friend that didn't like it. It was used only 2 nights. I will sell it for $25 complete with all pillows (M/L), including bag and user guide. PM me if interested.

Re: Comfortlite 2
I liked it. Probably would be using the ComfortLite 2 as my main mask if I didn't like the Aeiomed "Headrest" nasal pillows mask better.

Re: Comfortlite 2
I really like the ComfortLite 2 and it is currently my main mask. I like the Direct Seal pillows best and use those mostly. I do have Simple Cushions and Nasal Pillows and use them occassionally.
The mask looks bulky and heavy but it is not at all. I like all the adjustments possible on this mask. It is very easy to get on and off as well. Having no straps on my face at all is another plus for this mask, for me.

The new RT at my DME is going to bring one for me to try at my next appointment in 2 weeks. It will be the last mask on my current quest for the perfect mask. If I don't like it, I'll stick with my FX until I can get a new mask in 6 months.

Hi,
I really like the Comfortlite 2 and have used it for quite a while.I like not having anything on the face.(no marks at all).
Just recently I was able to master the swift fx and have been using that.
I'll have to say I really like both of them.
Have a great day!

Re: Comfortlite 2
For me the CL2 is a life saver. I have tried a bunch of masks in last few years and I HATE straps under my ears and across my cheeks. Even tried a FF mask and got one night out of it. The breeze was my choice for a long time and I used it for a year or two until I got the CL2. Since then I have altered the CL2 in a number of ways to make it comfortable for me. For instance I didn't like the notched/arms setting method at all for keeping the pillows up tight to my nose, so I removed the two arms and now use a system of rubber bands to control how much pressure the CL2 puts on the pillows. I also cut the part of the mask that sat on my head off and just use the forehead part for stability. I also changed the foam padding in the forehead pad to better fit the slope of my forehead so the rubber bands worked better, Also, you can change the pressure on your pillows by adding or removing a rubber band as needed.
As any one on the forum will tell you, what works for me may not work for you. You have to be willing to try and try different masks until you get it right. The Sleepweaver mask looks promising but it has under the ears bands and best used with hose kept down, which I also hate. My CL2 works best when the hose goes up and over my head, back of the head board and down to the machine on a night stand.
Good luck with your quest.

Thank you
I tried the Sleepweaver and it had massive leakage. I have a small face and there just isn't that much room between the bottom of my nose and my eyes

Re: Comfortlite 2
So glad you mentioned that, grybeard! Gives me an excuse to post a link that might be helpful to ladyhen if she gets a ComfortLite 2 -- and to others who may have one in a closet because it almost worked ok for them, but not quite.grybeard77 wrote:Since then I have altered the CL2 in a number of ways to make it comfortable for me.
Plenty of ideas here for fixes for the ComfortLite 2 as well as other masks, and for other "cpap" related problems:

Any chance you could post a few photos of your fixes, grybeard? Sounds like an award winning set of modifications to your mask.
Or if you've already posted pictures, could you direct me to a link?

Re: Comfortlite 2
Here are some pictures I hope will show better than words what I have done.

I also tried several head gear before I found one that worked for me.
The head gear you see in the pictures is from a ComfortCurve mask.
You have to try and try until you find what works for you.

I have a Sleepweaver too and oh how I wish it didn't leak so much.
It's so soft.

Re: Comfortlite 2
Lady Hen - If you haven't watched the Instructional video where the mask is reviewed on CPAP . com., the last statement advises folks it is NOT recommended for auto CPAP use. I have no idea why but the guys on the CPAP 1-800 # ought to be able to tell you, or maybe even your DME.

Re: Comfortlite 2
I was satisfied with the CL2 at first. After I tried a Swift LT I realized how heavy the CL was. The only minus factor for me was the weight.
