I turned on my s9 last night and heard a loud hissing sound and realized the SlimLine hose had a small tear right next to the connection. I have never pulled the hose off by pulling on the hose. I must have slept on it and kinked it. Tried my best to be very careful with it because it looked so flimsy.
Note to self. Only use standard hose from now on.
SlimLine Hose develops leak after just two weeks
Re: SlimLine Hose develops leak after just two weeks
duct tape. I've used it on hoses and it lasted a long time.
Re: SlimLine Hose develops leak after just two weeks
Its covered by a 30 warranty. Resmed have acknowledged this design flaw an apparently have an improved version out.
I had the same thing happen to me and i simply repaired mine with F4 tape (see photo) until my warranty replacement arrived. The i reinforced both my slimline hoses with the F4 tape.

yes, yes!
I used that tape I got on amazon.com on my climate line hose BEFORE it cracked..
design flaw... tape works great, and YOU can take it off, as I managed to get it off when I packed up my machine a few weeks ago
to return it.. (big fight with dme)
but I unpacked and am using it again. Get the tape, its great!

Another part of a solution might be to add one of those quick disconnects that has a swivel in it. That would help to prevent or reduce some strain on the hose.
Re: SlimLine Hose develops leak after just two weeks
I sent an email to Resmed today about developing a leak on the SlimLine hose after only two weeks. If they respond I will let everyone know what they say. If they don't respond within a week I will let everyone know that too.
