[size=200]I got 1.8 and 2.2 both from a site for free. I am now running 2.2 with Vista, no problem. I was asked to remove the link as the CPAP cops shut them down at ever opertunity. If anyone wants this link just pm me and I will see that you receive it. I will probably end up in CPAP prison for helping but so be it. My Father explained to me the difference between a Pimple and a Boil, seems that it depends on whose Bottom it's on, if someone elses, it's merely a Pimple, if it's mine, it's obviously major surgery. I am also Diabetic and find the difference in treatment between that and Sleep Aepena similar to the treatment differences between children and adults, simply ludicrous at best.

Encore Pro is the Clinician or Dr. version of the software which offers full functionality vs Encore Viewer which just allows one to view the data. Frankly most clinicians are no better qualified to use Encore Pro then you. One needs version 2 or above to access PRS1 machines like yours.

sounds like older computer- or really, older windows- works best

on older xp desktop- worked first time- just stick little sd card in right slot on computer-
downloaded - updated- results and waveforms- works easy

just from reading- sounds like windows 7 and new encore dont play well together

Thats funny, I have been using Encore Pro with my smart card reader now since mid December on this computer and even before that on the old system.

If your reader isn't working check your settings.

I could not use the drivers that came with my INFINEER card reader. I had to get one from http://www.ais-magnetic.com/e/download_detail.php?id=23390
May not be your problem but thought I would mention it.

You can only use a specific card reader... a DT3500 in particular with Respironics smart cards.

You can only use a specific card reader... a DT3500 in particular with Respironics smart cards.

Sorry, that may have been true at an earlier time, but I can read my Smart Card for my System One Respironics Auto with a cheap card read made by some company called SD/MS. I am sure that almost any card reader would work. I am talking about Encore Pro 2.2 software. If you are trying to read it with other software, then I have no experience with it.
