Hi-
I am so happy to be joining the CPAP group-great info!!!
I am a newbie and have just received the new Respironics REMstar A-flex System One machine w/humidifier. The machine has only one ramp button and one control wheel/push button on the top. I need to get a clinical manual for fine tuning. Can anyone help me ??
Thanks a million-

Re: new Respironics REMstar A-flex System One
Welcome zee!
To get to the clinician menu, turn the big knob to setup. Then press and hold the big knob and the ramp buttons for about 5 seconds. I believe this is what you're looking for.
Enjoy!

Re: new Respironics REMstar A-flex System One
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!
I had to switch insurances and therefore turn in my old machine (REMStar M series Pro). Because I was supposedly getting exactly the same equipment and I work a long way away, I arranged for my husband to pick up the new unit. I had taken pains to get an updated script, as my pressure is no longer quite what the sleep lab titrated. I still haven't convinced my doctor to give me a copy.
Anyway, I was surprised to find I have been given the first System One Pro the DME in my area has ever given out. BUT it was set to the old pressure that gets me AHI 20. I'm actually not sure which medical professional screwed up, but I was not willing to experiment with trying an outdated setting tonight as I have a big day at work Friday.
It took me a bit to find this post, but I am SO glad it was here.
